Any player is only an injury away, from going from the bench to starting,
and JP is still on the roster, and shouldn't be treated like he's gone forever.
He may be, but he may not!
As long as he's a BILL, we need him.
When he's gone, then go ahead and rip him.
This team needs EVERYBODY!

I would absolutley agree. Having a guy motivated to try to win his job back is great as a back up. And right now we need JP to be ready. However he's gone in the off season. I wouldnt want to stay if I were him.

TRUE, after this year, he'll be gone for good.
(time to retire another one of my jerseys)

He wouldnt be a bad backup though. He knows the offense.

He knows the offense, but how good is he off the bench?

Trent will be looking over his shoulder the whole time.

if JP can't sell his house, he may opt to be a back-up .

he'll be better off on another team, as most other players would. i love this team, but like someone else said, coming to buffalo is career suicide

He is 2 for 2 coming off the bench.

I doubt that very much, he's too competitive to be a backup,
he'll be looking for a starting job somewhere else.

Not only is he too competitive but most QB's at least get one more shot and I can think of a handful of teams that would probably be interested in giving him that chance.

JP seemingly has done his best in games he has come in as a backup for injury anyways.

Hopefully this combination works, and stays put.
We can't afford anymore injuries, we're starting to get back in trouble again,
especially on D.

With work JP could be the next Todd Collins of the league.

Good luck Trent, starting on a high emotional game like the one coming up with the Redskins. They won't want to tee off on a rookie will they?

Who the hell feels bad for him?

I wish I could make X millions of dollars to be successful at my job 50% of the time.

As far as I am concerned.. the guy got in, made his money... now he can do pretty much anything he wants! If you want to feel bad for anyone... feel bad for the guys who has to work for 40-50 years before he can even consider retiring.... you and me!

We didnt win the game after Everett went down. Emotional Adrenaline only lasts until you fall behind in a game. Then you wake up and realize you need to focus on the game, and not on whatever triggered your emotions.

He's better angry.

Wasn't he suppose to be angry against the Jags?

He might be better when he's not as prepared.

The absolute worst thing that can happen is that JP sees the field again.

Trent needs his 5 games so he can develop, prove or disprove that he should be the starter, and give us a chance to see if we need to draft a guy in the offseason.

I'd rather cut JP and bring Nall in here and see what he's got. I've seen enough of a guy that won't be on our roster next year.

I dont think he was angry against the jags... i think he was trying not to lose his position.
