I am isolated in Skins/Eagles/Steelers/Ravens country.

I usually veg out in front of the TV with Soda and Nachos, but if anyone is in my area and wants to meet up for the draft, let me know.

You can email or PM me if you are interested.

Thanks!

Thanks LOG!

It's about 15 miles SW of Harrisburg, PA
3.5 Hours from Pittsburgh
2 Hours from Philly
2 Hours from D.C.
5 Hours from Buffalo

Nice thing is, we are right on the PA Turnpike, so directions are SUPER easy.

Heck, I'd join ya Pride if I were gonna be in D.C. But I'll be in Roch for a wedding. I won't even be able to make the Buffalo party. I'll be "free" at around 5 pm and will probably go watch it locally somewhere in Rochester however.

Funny thing about them A-mish.

I actually lived next door to an amish family growing up, so I was very knowledgeable about their customs and traditions.
That was before I got my drivers license

Now they just piss me off.

They take the "share the road" rule with their bikes, one step too far. They get hit constantly around here. They ride in packs, meaning rather than ride in a straight line on the shoulder, they fan out and fill the shoulder and the lane of the road.

You cross a hill at the wrong time, and WHAM, you have a straw hat in your grill.

Oh, and I feel very comfortable in not offending any of them here on the board. LOL

Hey, that's not too bad of a drive for me, Pride. I'm still not sure what I'm doing that weekend, but if I don't go to Buffalo, maybe I'll head up your way. :)

Jaded, where are ya now?

Let me know ahead of time.

If none of you plan on coming, I wont plan anything.

None of my local friends pay any attention to the draft... so they wont come.

I'd rather have the inconvience of passing a pack of Amish then have to put up with one a-hole with his 4000 Watt audio system going boomity-boom boom and rattling the earth.

I live in hell, errrr I mean the DC metropolitan area. Home of the freaking Redskins, so I do feel your pain. lol Although, it's MUCH worse for me, trust me. I live in Maryland (Gaithersburg/Rockville) about an hour south of Baltimore and about 45 minutes north of DC. Pennsylvania isn't a bad drive for me. I went to Hershey Park last summer! :)

I'll let you know for sure what I'm doing once we get closer to the actual draft.

That's awesome! We should get together some time for the games or something.

I actually live on the North side of Carlisle, on RT 34, passed the fair grounds (Carlisle Springs area)

You would really hate me then :D

The system I'm about to put in won't shake the earth, but it will shake just about everything else. I'll make sure I pull up next to ya :D

Those of you who are intersted. Give me a final count a few days before the draft. Like I said, if noone is coming, I am wont plan it.

Also, if I get definates, I will order a subway platter or something ahead of time. Otherwise, it will be a trip to the grocery store that morning based on the head count.

Like I said, email me or PM me when you know for sure!

And you guys really wonder why I have serious road rage? lol The traffic down here is UNBEARABLE!!!!!!! Although, the traffic on Long Island isn't much better! The L.I.E. SUCKS! It takes me 3 1/2 hours to drive to New York and another hour and a half to get out on the Island! And that's only about 30-40 miles of the entire 250 mile trip! I either need a plane or a chauffeur driven limo. ;)
