.........chicago's no.1 overall.
That would be awesome. Malcolm Kelly, James Laurenaitis. ssssssick.

Thats an honest price for JP. I'd actually take him over Grossman (Losman and Grossman-sound like gay superheroes) any day of the week. He truly does suck less than Rexy.

Thoughts?

Vic Carrucci made a comment on his weekly radio show on a Buffalo radio station the other day that basically stated it's generally believed Buffalo will be lucky to get the same return on Losman that Cleveland got on Frye.

Laurenaitis is strictly a MLB I believe and Poz is probably best fitted for the MLB spot at the NFL level anyway.

Chicago already has 2-3 inept QB's why do they want another. Much less for the cost of a #1 they could use on a QB.

Setting aside JP, why would they want to trade two 3rds for a high 1?

Are they supposed to say, "Oh, well, if you throw in JP LOSMAN, that's a whole different story" ....?

Well it depends on how much they like JP.

I don't think the Bears would give the Bills Grossman for Losman.

Who knows, Chicago might take that trade. Don't forget this is the same organization that gave up a 1st round pick for Rick Mirer. Gave up Thomas Jones for next to nothing, and drafted Cedric Benson with the 4th overall pick.

I guess anything is possible!

But, I don't think Chicago is THAT dumb.

no way Chicago accepts that.

and if they do, no way Ralph pays two first round picks.

besides, trading Grossman for Losman is like trading in a Yugo for a Pinto. A Pinto's slightly better, but it still sucks and won't get the job done.

Considering Randy Moss was traded for a 4th rounder, JP might fetch some used toilet paper.

Who's going to be our new backup QB ?

Since 55 year old Vinnie Testaverde was brought back, we know how deep the QB talent pool is. So give me names, since Edwards could be an injury question mark far above the norm with his Bledsoesque footwork. No more rookies. It has to be a Vet.

Waiting.

a 4th at best is what they will get....

They could sign Bernie Kosar, he's a Vinnie compatriot!

I am a fervent believer in harvesting draft selections not trading them away. The secret here is to deal Losman and try to gain a pick for him in return, maybe a 5th and a conditional if your lucky.

The good thing is Marv's drafts usually get a "find" in the later rounds, so hopefully a trade pans out.

Id take a 7th this year and a conditional 7th next that could rise to a 5th based on PT if he was traded to a team like Minnesota who I dont think really want to draft a QB, and thats me being perfectly honest about where his value is imo.
