View Full Version : A good proven fullback would help this team.

I think a good proven fullback would help this offense big time. Then we would probably see some runs longer than 20 yards.

I hate the Full-back position almost as much as the H-Back system we run now. I'd rather have them spread the field and get Marshawn more room to run, rather than condensing the field and making it tougher.

tough to run Marshawn w/out him on the field.

I think this is pretty obvious. Then again, so would a real good offensive line.

Watching Dallas tonite, I wondered how the Bills would do w/ that line. Romo had a lot more time than either Bills QB gets, and there seemed to be bigger holes than Marshawn or ATrain get.

Center specifically.

While I question some of the Bills run blocking, the pass blocking has been very good most games.

Then I guess the passing is downright atrocious. I see JP have 2 secs to look at the 1 receiver he does, then he's down, on the run, or throwing it away(to the other team). Edwards makes his reads at least, then goes down, or throws it away.

I love the idea of a good, versatile FB leading Marshawn. A Sam Gash type who could occasionally catch a few balls would be ideal. Center & a big WR should also be priorities, though.

A fullback would not help at all in this offense as it is not engineered to use one.

I thought Gaines did a decent job when he was back there last week. I'd like to see him block for Marshawn when he gets back.

i feel like a good FB is based on whether the RB can deal with more commotion in the backfield. perhaps it's not a great plan with ML.

like another poster said, a lot of our plays are tight formations. we need to get some more wide sets.

I thought with our highpowered offense we were goin with an H-back, and by going with Nuefeld as that guy to start the season it shows how bad Fairchild evaluates talent, i agree with this thread and think and good FB with recieving capablitlity would help emensly, we r too one dimensional
