Who would have thought that the Bills' run defense would hold C.Portis to 50 yards on 25 carries, with a long of just 6, on his home field and, more importantly, stuff him in crunch time to get the ball back for the offense to get one more crack at winning the game?

It has been a long time since the Bills defense has stopped a team that had a lead from running out the clock on them. And, Portis is no slouch as a RB, either.

Big props to them for showing up big, especially when it counted in this game.

It's funny because the bills used to be better in pass defense and bad in run defense, but now it's the other way around. :crap:

When you play man to man, there is always someone shadowing the RB...

I like that.

Jackson had more rushing yards than Portis in the first half. :chuckle:

I remember last week, I'd always be wishing that the Jags would get a 3rd and 2, rather than a 3rd and 12, just so that they'd run it instead of passing it against the worst 3rd down secondary in the NFL.
