I wouldn't mind him getting cut this week and we pick up someone who doesn't even know the offense. Im sure we wouldn't see a difference.

I guarentee you, even before we get a #2 WR next season, the TOP offensive priority will be getting a better TE. a TE is important to Edwards' game.

If they don't, I'm ok with Gaines. He's a HUGE target, with good hands. Sure he's slow, but at least he's not Robert Royal.

They will look towards a chain-moving pass catching TE that can get more than 3-4 yards down the field; like a Jeremy Shockey or Greg Olsen type of TE.

in fact, depending on where they end up drafting, I woudn't be the least bit surprised if that's their first round pick; should a Tight end of quality be available at that slot.
