All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Gregg didn't have any notes on Trent Edwards. That is why the Bills were able to beat the skins.
King Edwards and Action Jackson beat Manboob's blitzing defense. In the end of the day the bills get a big win, and greg williams still looks like my grandmother.
um, he did hold us to 5 FG's and 0 TD's- granted we had a rookie QB and 3rd string RB, but still- for the most part the Redskins' D held us in check.
all that matters it that one of those field goals came with 58 seconds left and no time outs. Thats just bad, that kind of crap happened to us all the time when he was our coach.

it's the kind of crap that still happens to us. For once we were on the right end of it, but remember the Denver and Dallas games? Unfortunately this is one area where our team hasn't improved since Williams' departure.
we scored more points than them. isn't that the objective?
well of course it is but the D held us to 15 offensive points- I think it's a little rough to criticize the defensive coordinator for that.
If we had lost 16-15 and I came on here blasting Fewell, everyone would jump down my throat about how the D kept us in the game. Well, the Skins' D kept them in the game and the O didn't hold up their end of the bargain. All I'm saying is that Skins fans can't put this loss on Manboobs.

I disagree, i have seen a steady improvement in this area. They held late leads against the jets, Dolphins, Balitmore, Bengals, now none of these teams are world beaters but we would lose pretty much any games that were going down to the wire in years past. Winning is a attitude that needs to be built, and this team is slowily starting to do it.

Come on Op.
I was soooo looking forward to your weekly "Jauron sucks at clock management," post.
We burned a time out early in the half and didnt' have it when we needed it most- fortunately we got away with it this time.
No. WE didn't burn it.
Edwards did, (and it was the right move), not Jauron.
What WE did was take a possession at 56 secs and get to a field goal using no timeouts, on the road, because we used them brilliantly during the other team's last possession, leaving 8 secs to spare.
