All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The former waste of space easily played his best game as a Bill here, both against the run and pass. Hopefully this will be a trend to continue, as we'll need it if we want to reach the postseason.
I wouldn't call Tripplett a "former waste of space" just yet. He had a great game, but in 28 games as a Bill he's had maybe 4 or 5 good ones. He needs to be a lot more consistent.
Bills fans are too eager to forget weeks or even seasons of poor play for one or two good performances.
Tatupu with ease.... 3 INTs and 11 tackles is slightly more important to his team than what Tripplet did for us. Though I was certainly pleased to see Tripplet have easily his best game as a Bill.
5 years/$18 million and 28 games later, Tripplett made the kind of impact we've been waiting for.
For all the talk about Trent last Sunday, we don't win that game if it's not for LArry Tripplett.
I wouldn't say this was Trippletts first big game with us, but I think it's fair to say he's been a little dissapointing. I didn't expect him to be a pro-bowler though. It's not like DT's come up with two turnovers every week. A little more qb pressure would be nice though.
Your to eager to remember the bad parts about those seasons as well.
because those of you who remember the good parts are always the ones who want to keep useless players.
BTW, I just re-watched the game- Tripplett's the one who got the late hit on Campbell on the 2nd to last play and gave the Skins one last shot. Fortunately nothing came of it, but that's inexcusable.

That was a total BS call. If it wasn't for Tripplett, Campbell is taking a knee on that play. He played great.

I think it may have been helmet to helmet, but the NFL has gotten too protective of the QB's. Just because there is helmet to helmet contact doesn't mean it was intentional or even that the play was dangerous.
That being said, Tripplett's been around long enough to know not to get anywhere near the QB's helmet in that situation.

Agreed. His good game was more of being at the right place at the tight time. Especially with that INT.
