All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Parcells thinks Jauron should be coach of the year!!
Re: Parcells thinks Jauron should be coach of the year!!
pretty high praise coming from parcells- however i dont think he'll win unless we make the playoffs- and after the way we blew the dallas game im not sure he deserves it anway
Re: Parcells thinks Jauron should be coach of the year!!
I think Jauron has pretty stiff competition in Mike Tomlin at Pittsburgh. The Steelers were 8-8 last season under Cowher, and they are 9-3 so far this season. That's a pretty impressive rookie year for a head coach. Jauron won't get any comptetition from Norv Turner though.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

The Steelers team one year removed from a Super Bowl, who have they lost since? Randle El?(irreleavent with the emergence of Holmes) Porter?.. That team is loaded with talent. Not to mention Lebeau as his DC.

Losing to the Jets and Bengals will hurt Tomlin's chances.

Wow. The guy won it once in Chicago and might again get it this year? Could it be that maybe, just maybe, that season in Chicago and this year are not just flukes and DJ is actually a pretty good coach?

Good point on Crennel - he's done a good job at finally bringing together all the talent they've put together the past few years.
Btw, LT, obviously the Phins are struggling, but what do you guys think of Cam? Is he taking much of the blame from fans/media in Miami for being 0-12, or is is basically chalked up to injuries/youth/lack of talent?
