I didn't see a thread about this. He was on Jim Rome today, doing his interview from his home in Hamburg. I don't remember everything he said. He did mention that it wasn't until well after the game was over that they realized why the Skins only had 10 men out for the first play of the game. Apparently they were discussing it afterwards on the sideline and still couldn't figure it out. Anyways, it was a good interview. Maybe someone can find it somewhere. He presents himself and the Buffalo Bills organization very well.

i'm all for class in handling the Sean Taylor situation, however, the bills were down 3-0. if it was the first play of the game, sure take the knee. but the redskins just marched the field and we got lucky on a false start by their OL that we weren't behind 7-0. the game was on, you run a play. obviously the most class you could show is to not audible out and throw to that open spot.
So i was happy with how it was handled.

Hell yeah gunz. Once the commentators were like "oh my lord. they have 10 guys on defense. 10 guys. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. God bless Sean. Taylor, god bless. They have 10 guys on the field. To his credit, Trent does give good interviews and says the right things. I'm glad that he presents himself well.
It also was never announced or officially planned that Washington was going to open with 10 players so I don't have any possible idea how the Bills would just know that or assume that.
Also, there is no way they should have taken a knee or delay of game. They are playing the game to win. They took the moment of silence for Taylor and they wore the 21 decals. What more could they do? Taking a knee or penalty would be foolish. If that is expected then the Bills should just open with 10 players every game.
