Not to overlook this, but if you're a fan this is about as much of a "given" as it gets. They should win. Given any reasonable effort (something the Sabres should learn about) they should win. If they lose, something has to give.

Actual members of the team, on the other hand, is another story altogether. There, there are no givens.

I'll have over 7 months to not think about the playoffs.

The playoffs are exactly what I'm thinking about, and I suggest everybody thinks about the playoffs while they still can.

I can think of the playoffs, babes in bikinis, or the lighter side of Adolf Hitler, and none of that is going to change what happens on Sunday.

In fact, another good reason for the fans to think about the playoffs is because that will rile them up on Sunday...and it's our job to make enough noise as possible.
