he's just not good enough- it's as simple as that. He has some speed but he's too small to move the pile so he's very one dimensional. And he sucks at returning kicks.

Jeez, you peple act like they signed him to be an integral part of the offense or something. He's somebody that knows the system that would only see the field in an emergency. Are there a bunch of 2,000 yard backs out on the street that I'm not aware of?

Why would they need ANOTHER RB? Just because A-Train was released don't mean we need another one. I preferred Cieslak. At least he filled a position low on depth. :ill:

Per Vtext.

This was a strategic move - Now that Mularkey is back calling plays for Miami he was going to sign Sucky Shaud to a deal, plus he knows our entire playbook and could have gave all that valuable info to the enemy.

No worries - he will be released after the miami game anyway.

No, I just heard the wimper of another rookie being cut in camp next year because of wastes of space like him and Anderson that seem to never go away.

So what he will be our 4th stringer. How many teams have stud 4th string RBs?

Because on winning teams a 3rd string running back actually contributes to a team, ala Davenport Faulk before Morris got hurt, etc.
This guy proved he can provide nothing at all and yet we keep him around
this is the reason we constantly suck guyz like him, neufeldm aiken, stamer, haggan, keep makin the roster or keep being brought back and yet we keep losin
sorry this move sucks
u could have brought in a prospect and put him on the PS instead of cuttin Czeislak u could have cut Felton Huggins or Scott mayle from the PS or Corey Mace, i mean seriously

Actually, at this point in their careers, Shaud is a more productive runner than A-Train, who just went on IR.

And the RB pecking order will probably be Lynch, Jackson, Wright and Williams, so I don't think Shaud will be on the field too much.

How is TE lower on depth than RB with Lynch (still injured), Jackson and Wright???

Let's see there's , Nall, Joe, Cieslak, and now Shaud. And any other guy on this planet who ever played for the Chicago Bears.

HUH?
Davenport was and has been the 2nd string for the Steelers all season.

New England doesn't run the ball anyways so who cares who any of their RBs are?

Holy **** who else should we have signed? We did cut him over younger prospects at the beginning of the year remember! He knows our offense. I really don't see a problem with this.

WHO ELSE WOULD WE HAVE SIGNED?

more in December and Cieslak was
not exactly a playmaker.

After the game Fred Jackson had, Shaud Williams is not going to be the first guy in to give Lynch a breather. Williams is insurance since A-train went on IR. I doubt Williams sees the field unless it's on special teams.
