Things haven't always measured up for Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson.
But here he is, big time.
"I think you always cheer for those types of underdogs," Bills running backs coach Eric Studesville said. "But the reality of it is... it doesn't matter how you get here. The draft choice doesn't matter, free agency, NFL Europe, Coe College, whatever it is. None of that has anything to do with it. But once you are here, you've got to work every day and when your opportunity comes, perform. Otherwise, you won't be here very much longer. He's done that."
Now it it is Jackson time. Lynch gets some carries to see how far he has recovered but Jackson needs to carry the load this week.
