So I just ran over to the grocery store about 1/4 mile up the road to get some things for my wife's work Christmas party tonight and of course I had my Lee Evans jersey on, since I'm heading to the bar to watch the game here in a few minutes.
As I walk in one entrance a lady walks in from the opposite side and asks me if I'm a Bills fan. I said, "yes ma'am I sure am." And she told me her son played for the Bills. I said, "oh really, who is that?" And then we both said Sam Aiken at the same time, as it dawned on me that I knew he was from the area.
Very nice lady and I spent about 5 minutes talking to her about the team and how nasty the weather is supposed to be today. She said she's supposed to be going up to see the Giants game and she hopes it's a little nicer out then, but she's originally from NYC, so she's a little used to it. She told me to enjoy the game and I told her to do the same and wished her son good luck!
