My brain is still a little fuzzy from all the alcohol yesterday, but I’m pretty sure my numbers are right.

If they move the game to Sunday night, we may be able to clinch a wild card by winning the game.

How do you ask?

1. Tennessee losses one of the next 2 games. Next week in KC or the following Sunday afternoon against the Jets. Longshot, Maybe, but this is a Tennessee team that’s 1-4 in their last 5 games. Hardly out of the question.

2. We beat Cleveland next week and then on the following Sunday afternoon they lose to Cincinnati. Again, we need to beat them anyway and the game in Cincinnati will be a road division game.

So if that happens, the records on Sunday December 23, 2007 at 8:00 PM will be as such:

Buffalo 8-6 (7-5)
Cleveland 8-7 (6-6)
Tennessee 8-7 (5-6)

And then after the Bills beat the Giants the records will look like this.

Buffalo 9-6 (7-5)
Cleveland 8-7 (6-6)
Tennessee 8-7 (5-6)

So even if the Bills lose in week 17 and both Cleveland and Tennessee both win the records would look like this.

Buffalo 9-7 (7-5)
Cleveland 9-7 (6-6)
Tennessee 9-7 (6-6)

And we’re dancing in the playoffs.

So to recap:

Bills over Browns
KC over Tennessee (or Jets over Tennessee)
Cincinnati over Browns

Bills Clinch playoff spot with Sunday night win over Giants!

Ahh, I see.

I may be a little upset if they move it to a night game since I live 4 hours away, but there's no way I'm missing it with a potential playoff berth on the line. Let's just hope the Bills are still in it after this week.

Were you drunk yesterday, Patrick? And I missed it. We saw you on the big screen! I would've gone down to your section to sya hi, but I was literally frozen to my seat and couldn't move. We ended up leaving the beginning of the 4th quarter and watched the rest of the game in a warm house in front of a fire.
