Just heard on WGR, Tenn needs to lose another game, even if we win out, to make the playoffs.

I dont understand HOW

somebody said that in a three way tie it would come down to strength of sched cuz common opponents gets washed out

Let the Bills take care of the Bills, then worry about this. They gotta beat Cleveland this week, or it's all moot anyway.

Pat,
If we and Tenn win out then we would have identical conferance victories and the next available tie breaker is stratgh of victories which we lose. Tenn has to lose another game.

But like another poster said, we have to beat cleveland first!

If we beat cleveland and then cleveland wins out to go 10-6 and it's a 3 way tie between Cleveland, Tenn. and Buffalo. Somehow Buffalo wins that tie-breaker matchup as long as they are all 10-6.

There are many scenario's where Jax. loses a few and we can surpass them as well but the Cleveland / Tenn. / Bills tie is more than possible. I also think that Indy will drill Tenn even if they have less to play, you never want to go into the playoffs on a losing note.

Your right Pat, I wrote it wrong, thanks. It's revised.

Technically we're still not in control of our own destiny because even if we beat Cleveland and win out to finish 10-6, it's still possible for Tenn. and Cleveland to finish 10-6 also. In that scenario, the tie-breaker would come down to strength of victory, which the Titans would win. If we finish in a two way tie with either team at 10-6, we would hold the tie-breaker against both. In a three way tie we lose out though, I believe.

3 way tie we win. 2 way tie with Tenn right now we lose out.

As usual, WGR is wrong. If Buffalo wins out, they're in.

No, WGR is actually dead right on this. Three way tie at 10-6 with the Titans and Browns and we're out
