    Just some food for thought as we are privy to greatness blossoming before our very eyes in Buffalo.......

    Manning (True rookie started on opening day)

    Record: 1 - 5
    TD's: 6
    Int's: 14
    Sacks: 11
    Fumbles: 1 (1 lost)
    Passing yards: 1364
    Best QB rating in a game: 66.8
    Worst QB rating in a game: 39.3

    Brady (he was in his 2nd year after spending all of 2000 on the bench)

    Record: 4 - 2
    TD's: 10
    Int's: 4
    Sacks: 13
    Fumbles: 5 (2 lost)
    Passing yards: 1273
    Best QB rating in a game: 148.3
    Worst QB rating in a game: 57.1

    Studwards (True rookie started in week 4, saw first action in week 3):

    Record: 5 -1
    TD's: 5
    Int's: 4 (he had on in NE but he didn't start that game)
    Sacks: 8
    Fumbles: 2 (0 lost)
    Passing Yards: 1115
    Best QB rating in a game: 111.4
    Worst QB rating in a game: 56.2

    I won't say he's the next Brady or Manning but I agree this is greatness blossoming in front of our eyes.

      As much as I like the kid let's keep the Brady/Manning comparisons to a minimum.




      For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

        Why is that EB?

        The numbers/facts don't lie - this kid is special and should only get better as the season wears on and the games get bigger and bigger!

        Also not sure how many 4th quarter/come from behind wins each had in their career - but Studwards has 2 already......

            First off its Edwards. He isnt a STUD yet. In the making maybe. I also like the kid but lets not put him in the Brady/MAnning group yet. But it is nice to be in a playoff race. Man it feels GOOD!

              First 6 starts in those categories, his first coming in the 3rd game of his rookie year:

              Record: 3 -3
              TD's: 6
              Int's: 8
              Sacks: 5

              Best QB rating in a game: 91.0
              Worst QB rating in a game: 25.3

              Of course, those seem like arbitrary numbers. Why not post his full passing stats?
