    You know what's funny?

    Miami could've had Trent Edwards.

Instead they went to a 26 year old rookie.

Did you hear his post game interview yesterday?

He mentioned how aggressively miami pursued him during the offseason workouts leading up to the draft and thought for sure they were going to take him when they passed on Quinn.

TE would have looked just as bad in miami's offense

Thank god they didn't! They'd probably have 2-3 wins right now, and we'd probably be at 5-8.

Hindsight... I can remember a few botches by many teams. Can anyone say Ryan Leaf, Heath Shuler or Rick Mier to name a few?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.

Sure but it's funnier when it's the Dolphins missing out and we end up with the better pick, 52 spots later.

I really don't think so. You would have beaten us the first time and probably the Giants.

Leaf went number 2....in the 6th round greenbay took matt Hasselbeck
Shuler went number 1...superbowl winner Dilfer went number 6.
Mier went number 2....brunell went 158 (and two buffalo legends, Alex van pelt went in the 6th round and billy joe hobert went in the 3rd)

Looking at old drafts by position on the NFL website is insane.

Miami has serious problems in their draft room.

                        Well lets see:
                        1. John Beck over Trent Edwards. Its early but it already looks like a bad move
                        2. Ted Ginn JR. Prjoected late round 1st round. Taken #9 overall. Cameron talked about his return skills. Wow, #9 overall pick on a special teamer. Hes not Devon Hester, Terrence McGee, or Roscoe Parrish.

                          Hagan looked good yesterday.
                          Allen needs work.

But this has been going on for a few years.

TE only had one TD before he faced us, if he couldn't have scored more with what you guys have how in God's name would he have scored any with what the dolphins have on offense.

The thing is, if Edwards was your guys QB, he would probably have been the starter alot earlier in the season. He has caught on quickly with us just like he would have with you guys. By the time Trent played the Bills the first time, he would be pretty decent. I think Trent would have figured out something on how to score with what you call your lack of talent.
