    1983 remembered: Eric Dickerson

    In NFL draft circles, 1983 may always be known as the Year of the Quarterback, as would any class that included John Elway, Dan Marino and Jim Kelly, as well as three other first-round passers. But there was a lot more to the Class of '83 than quarterbacks.

    The first round also included Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson and recently retired future Hall of Famers Bruce Matthews and Darrell Green.

    Round 2 yielded wide receiver Henry Ellard, defensive end Leonard Marshall and running back Roger Craig.
