All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. This is the time to really start talking to high school recruits. I don't see how he is going to have his mind 100% on the Bills right now.
The Bills havent made the playoffs since I graduated high school. Lets please make it before Im 30.
Jauron said due to Trents poor performance JP will start the rest of the season..
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
i saw it about 2 hours ago so i am going off of memory but nothing much was said.
fairchild will be with us the rest of the season.
it won't be a distraction.
you want coaches to progress but you hate to lose them.
we think fairchild is a good coach.... etc.
no talk of a replacement and fairchild will have the same duties till the bills season is over. then came the standard line - everyone is focused on the browns.
I'm a little surprised that Colorado State didn't insist on him being available for the key recruiting period around Christmas. Maybe they feel that they have a good head recruiter who can sell kids on waiting because the school will be getting a HC from the NFL. I think the fact that Fairchild has been an OC in the NFL will be a good selling point for him with kids that they are recruiting, especially ones who have ambitions of perhaps playing in the NFL down the road. It certainly helped K.Ferentz at Iowa and S.Croom at Miss.St.--both schools that, like Colorado State, aren't easy places to recruit--at least initially.
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.
