Browns notebook: Bills' Whitner still roots for hometown Browns
BEREA, Ohio -- Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner is torn between his two favorite teams this week.

The Cleveland native grew up a die-hard Browns fan, but he will play a key role Sunday in the Bills' game at the Browns.
Both teams are vying for the second AFC wild-card spot. Cleveland (8-5) has a one-game lead over Buffalo (7-6) with three games remaining.
"I'll like to see the Cleveland Browns in the playoffs, but not more so than I want to see my Buffalo Bills in there," said Whitner, a former Ohio State player.http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/browns/stories/2007/12/13/browns_notes1213.ART0_ART_12-13-07_C4_FQ8OT6T.html?sid=101

This is not a win / win situation for him, I hope he realizes that.

Yes it is. We win, he's in the playoffs probably. We lose, his Browns are in the playoffs probably.

That's the definition of a win-win Skooby.

I would hope that Whitner has to quit being a Browns fan until he's no longer employed by the Buffalo Bills.

Growing up, I was also a diehard Browns fan. I still flip to them when the Bills are on a commercial or whatever. That being said, there isn't an ounce of blood in me that doesn't want the Bills to tear Cleveland a new one this weekend.

I bleed Buffalo Bills now.

He needs to think about a Bills win / a Browns loss and deal with it.

Cleveland is my 2nd favorite team and I hate thinking that whichever team loses on Sunday will likely not be in the playoffs. Im rooting for the Bills, but I wont enjoy this one as much.

I hate all other teams that arent' the Bills so I won't be torn this or any weekend.
