Browns notebook: Bills' Whitner still roots for hometown Browns
BEREA, Ohio -- Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner is torn between his two favorite teams this week.
The Cleveland native grew up a die-hard Browns fan, but he will play a key role Sunday in the Bills' game at the Browns.
Both teams are vying for the second AFC wild-card spot. Cleveland (8-5) has a one-game lead over Buffalo (7-6) with three games remaining.
"I'll like to see the Cleveland Browns in the playoffs, but not more so than I want to see my Buffalo Bills in there," said Whitner, a former Ohio State player.http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/browns/stories/2007/12/13/browns_notes1213.ART0_ART_12-13-07_C4_FQ8OT6T.html?sid=101
