    The Real Deal

Look for another big game out of the Real Deal this weekend. This line has done a great job for him and now that we know we can play smash mouth with Action Jackson and The Beast, look for some long drives that wear down the D.

Im calling this game a W right now. Buffalo 31-14

    Done Deal.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Our running game is going to be key--and for the first time since I can remember I have some confidence in it.

I never thought I'd say the words "We need to keep the Browns' offense off the field," but we kind of do.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

With the Defense playing like they are it is quite possible we will win the time of possesion game. What scares me is that Clevland can score quick and we have had some issues in that department. No doubt here as to the running game, our backfield is tough and they will prove that this weekend!

Can somebody please explain "The Real Deal Holyfield" nickname? I'm starting to see it a lot and can't really muster an explanation as to why that is a good nickname. Shouldn't Edwards just be "The Real Deal" minus some other dude's last name (if we really are going to settle on such a lame nickname).

Just curious. In the maentime, I'll just keep calling him Trent. Or Edwards. Or Trent Edwards. Or Tredwards.
You people are depressing me...try this out so my doctor can take me off my meds!!!

                          Trent Edwards nickname suggestions:

                          "Fab Five"
Trent "Don't Call Me John" Edwards
                          "T5" or "The Terminator"
                          Trent "The Stanford Gent" Edwards

                          Just playing around.

Trent is going to deliver BIG - and we are forced to get into a shootout I could see him dropping 350 yards and 4 TD's on their hideous defense.
