It’s December, so that can only mean Lee Evans can be found waltzing through everyone’s secondary and camping out in the end zone. It’s also time for Evans to put the first three months of the season behind him.
For two years, Evans has been accustomed to being the go-to wide receiver on the Buffalo Bills and his numbers are a testament to that. Last season, Evans was one of the most productive receivers in the NFL — his 1,292 yards placed him sixth among the league’s wideouts.
But that was then and this is a new-look Bills offense. J.P. Losman was the only quarterback who took snaps last year and now the offense is being controlled by rookie Trent Edwards. With a new quarterback comes a period of adjustment, a new level of comfort.
“It’s had its spurts,” said Evans, the fourth-year receiver, about his season. “Our offense has not been very consistent. When you go through switching quarterbacks and things like that, it makes it tough. I’m happy that now that’s over and especially during the home stretch of the season.”

Some people just need to have it pounded into their brain before they'll understand.
