Still think that loss to Denver no longer matters?

CBS just said Denver is still in the playoff hunt (albeit a long shot) at 6-8, meanwhile we're eliminated at 7-7.

It matters now more than ever.

OP, events have unfolded this year that regardless of us even making the playoffs, we would have gotten killed. We have been unable to hang with the upper tier teams this season and to think that we would make a big splash in the playoffs is insanity.

We have a young guy just starting the learn the QB position as a rookie, a rookie RB and one of the youngest teams in the NFL. We are poised for growth and success based on a good upcoming draft. NFC west next season for the Bills and a good draft makes me feel that we can snag 10 wins or more next year, we cannot ask for more than that.

uh, yeah, we can- how bout a good season THIS year instead of signs of hope for NEXT year? How many times have we seen "signs of hope" at the end of one year going into the next season only to be disappointed? 2002 into 2003, 2004 into 2005, 2006 into 2007.....

And anyway- that wasn't the point of this thread. The point was that the Denver loss is now huge because they're still in the playoff hunt and we're not because of that game. So you can say it doesn't matter any more all you want, but it does matter.

Ok so we win that game, now what?? Tenn won today, Jax won today and either of those teams successes holds us out of the playoffs so where we're we going here?? The Denver loss hurt us early and basically opened the door for Trent to be looked at as a better option, so maybe in the long run it's for the best.

If we would of somehow beat Jax, JP would still be the starting QB and that scares me more than losing.
