Well the quote was 90% of his gear was Steelers. That could consist of 5 or 6 shirts, who knows. Could also be a exaggeration on her part as well. Does not seem from the article that they where very well off IMO.

They lived in a state kinda close but still gas/hotel/tickets/food could come up to well over $500-1000. That is alot if say his wife is unable to work blah blah blah. Just pointing out they may have been unable to with 2 kids etc.
