To the guys who went to Cleveland

It was definitely a snow storm, but was it one of the worst you sat through? The only reason i ask is that people seem to be all over trent for wearing gloves and playing poorly.

From what it looked like on television, it seemed like a regular snow game, but i heard the game was really kind of unique. even for buffalo. So i think you probably should rank TE's ability to handle the cold from the dolphins game and the next two games. Those are your more typical buffalo cold games.

The wind was brutal. I have been more uncomfortable at games (A Houston game in 1995 when it rained and was about 32 the entire game), but for bone chilling wind it was one of the worst.

Where we sat, we were sheltered from the wind so it was OK. But the field looked like it was a tad bit uncomfortable.

We were at the very top of the West End upper tier and it sounded like a freight train coming through when the wind picked up. Worst weather I've ever seen for a game.

          Good Thread.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
          It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

It made the 2002 snow bowl against Miami feel like a summer picnic compared to this one for me

I totally agree. I still can't feel my toes.

thanks for the responses. the only reason i asked was to see if this was truly a unique snow game or if it was just a typical winter game. and all responses seem to be that it was pretty unique.

I'd have still liked to see the bills play like they were from buffalo and not a lost miami team, but i don't think trent wearing gloves or the line totally unable to hold blocks should say they can't play in cold weather.

They looked capable in a more average cold setting in the Miami game. And it should be cold but not blustery on Sunday.
