Injured Buffalo Bills player Kevin Everett is returning to western New York.

2 On Your Side has learned that Everett plans to be at this weekend's Bills game and that he will walk on the field of Ralph Wilson Stadium once again with help from an unlikely source.

The player involved in the tackle with Everett, Domenik Hixon, now plays with the Giants and that's the team the Bills will play on Sunday. Sources say, it's expected that Hixon and and Everett will walk onto the field together.

Awesome news. I cannot even begin to explain how happy I am for him to be able to walk and possibly live a normal life. So many people die from injuries like this and having a personal experience dealing with it makes me appreciate it even more.

Again great news and wish I could be there to see it personally.

That's great and a really classy move by Hixon. I know Hixon didn't do anything wrong but I'm sure he still feels bad about it.

if that doesn't inspire the Bills to play lights out, I don't knwo what can.

but the best part about the game is for the second week in a row, I get to watch it on TV! AFN is actually showing back-to-back Bills games!

I swear to you, when I read the first post in this thread I got goosebumps. I am so happy to see this guy able to walk again. It might be a crazy thought but if this happens, the Giants have absolutely no chance in this game.

But, I also said that against New England after seeing his pre-game speech.

But, the Giants are no where near as good as the Pats.

This is gonna be awesome! I would expect the Bills to play amazing.

DB - I would imagine that FOX would have to show this. This is a pretty big deal.

Convo between my buddy and I a few days ago...

Him: My Giants are going to beat up on your Bills this Sunday.

Me: You should know by now not to underestimate my Bills. Besides, it's going to a pretty emotionally game and I expect Eli won't hear a damn thing besides our crowd.

Him: Why do you say that?

Me: Word is that Kevin Everett is going to walk out on the field.

Him: So, who's that?

Me: Remember our TE that wasn't supposed to walk again?

Him: Oh ****.

Me: :gobills:

Hixon should not walk out there with him. It should just be Kevin Everett, say a few words and have the team walk out. That's really lame, are they gonna hold hands? don't be bummed if he's there but doesn't walk out. Could just be there watching the game in a box. All this could be too much so soon...
