    Fresh Seau News

    From ESPN Insiders:

Apr. 2 - The Miami Herald quotes Seau as saying he'd "love" to play for the Dolphins and that Miami is considering trading for the veteran linebacker rather than waiting to see if he's released June 1. Additionally, the paper reports the Chargers are willing to take the cap hit that would come with a pre-June deal rather than wait and save cap space. A trade before April 15 is unlikely, though, because Seau is due a $2.7 million bonus then, and teams would just as soon see the Chargers pay that.
At least seven teams have expressed interest in Seau, but whether any of them will be willing -- or salary-cap able -- to acquire him in trade is uncertain. Green Bay and Arizona appear to have the most interest, with Tampa Bay close behind. However, the Buccaneers reportedly can offer no better than the veteran minimum salary. Any team trading for Seau will have to assume his $3 million base salary this season and salaries of $5 million and $5.5 million for 2004 and '05.

Miami?!? Don't they already have an MLB? Zack Thomas. . . makes the pro-bowl a lot . . . generally considered one of the best in the game . . . much younger than Junior. . . needs must I continue?
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

Seau will be most likely playing WLB in Miami and Tampa if either one of those teams get him.

          They should have signed Emmitt.

We should sign him, unless there is someone even older and more banged up we can sign.
