DENVER (April 2, 2003 1:27 p.m. EST) - Those who exercise vigorously call it a "good" sweat.

That's what Mike Anderson had earlier this week, as the fullback completed wind sprints to cap his initial session in the Denver Broncos' off-season conditioning program.

Surely, though, no such concept exists in the Iraqi desert for U.S. soldiers engaged in war, despite daily temperatures that can exceed 100 degrees.

A good sweat in that theater is likely as foreign as the Americans themselves.

"For those guys over there," Anderson said, "that's life and death."

As a former soldier with the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Division from 1992 to 1996, Anderson experienced the kind of perspiration that never would have a positive connotation attached to it....more (http://www.sportserver.com/football/nfl/story/837527p-5893944c.html)
