It has become easy, as well as trendy, to make Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder a pick-apart target.
Brash, bold, proactive owners don't necessarily win popularity contests or much love from their brethren when they flash the cash to the tune of about $30 million in signing bonus money already in this free-agency period.
Some may call Snyder "Danny Boy." Or simply "The Dan."
