    Jochen Hecht

    Let's rally and send this guy to the all star game.

    Seriously, last year I couldn't tell why he was on the team.

    I'm out of market and have limited opportunities to watch the team, but every time I get one, this guy impresses the hell out of me.

    Once again, he came through in a HUGE way against Philly tonight. This guy ABSOLUTELY belongs in the All Star game and he's one of the best and most consistent players on our team.

    No one talks about him but there is no way this team wins 6 in a row to get back in the hunt without him.

      Seriously, whether this team makes the playoffs or not- whether the rest of the players on this team or not- Hecht has been huge for us this season and deserves the recognition.

        This team is making the playoffs. They are growing up more and more every game. Sure, they'll take some steps backwards this year and struggle, but the playoffs for sure. If they play with heart and determination like they did the last two games, they might even do some damage.

              it sure would be nice to be that good. It's early. They need to play well or be challenged. I'd like to see the Sabres play well enough to challenge them. There is no question they can do it but will they?

                I dont want to be TOO good during the regular season lol

                  hecht has been real solid but he is not close to being an all-star

                    i agree and i dont.......... if they make the teams based on popularity, then yeah, i would agree, because not many really know of him, but just based on his need to the team, i would agree with op.....

                    you can make a case for miller, because of his saves, and some games he was the only one playing..... but hecht has been a very very important cog to the collective machine and getting to 39 points this far into the season after such a so/so start
