    Long snapper

Was it worth getting rid of the best long snapper in the league for a DE who rarely even steps on the field? Last week against the Browns that bad snap into the end zone changed the game. Today, same story. Bad snap leads to quick 7 and changes the complextion. I used to think having a long snapper specialist was a waste of a spot, not so much now.

Good post. I was thinking the same thing and I really feel that is why Moorman has struggled this year too.

I thought it was a mistake at the time, unless they had some really big plans for Neill at DE. They didn't.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

They were dealing with multiple DEs being out and not having players able to rotated with Schobel and Kelsay; they even rotated Jefferson in. I do not think it made a real difference most games until weather started getting rough.

He didn't tell Moorman to pick it up and try to run. Moorman could've just fell on it.

or kicked it out of the endzone again.

If he didnt two bounce it to Moorman, he wouldnt have had to make that decision to run

Moorman had ample time to throw it/run the other way/actually pick it up and kick it.
