View Full Version : The Downside of the Sabres Game at the Ralph

They have to convert the field to an ice rink this week. That means the Bills have to practice in the bubble. Buffalo has already proven they have a tough time in adverse weather. It's supposed to rain for the Philadelphia game and Buffalo can use all the outdoor bad weather practice they can get.

Tiger they have 2 other outside fields(one right next to the field house) they can practice on.

Or they can practice on one of the outside practice fields.

There is no downside of the Sabres game at the Ralph. The Bills already blew their playoff shot anyway, so whatever.

Umm, the Bills packed in there season at Cleveland, does it really matter?

The downside of the game is that half of you won't be able to see the puck. I think alot of you will be dissappointed when you get to the game and see how bad it is to watch HOCKEY in such a big place...

I will enjoy it on my patio after the OUTBACK BOWL when its 80......

At least it will be fun to tailgate...

word! I would rather win but losing isn't such a bad thing in our case due to the draft next year.

The tailgating is a main reason why most of us are going.

The TAILGATING and just being a part of such an event, is the BEST part!
GO SABRES!

It would of cost me 100's of dollars more than anyone living in the area,
at the worst time of the year for having extra money.
I'd be there (no brainer) if I lived in the area, but at this time of year,
traveling is a nightmare. And for a one day event, Trump didn't send me
the free loan I begged for, so I'm skrewed. Have fun!
See you all at a BILLS and SABRES game next year, the wife and I
coming for a visit for sure.

I did base an entire trip up there around it... too bad I couldn't get any tickets.

How many do you need? I might have an extra pair. I'm getting better seats from a co-worker and you can have the pair of the obstructed view seats if you want...

It was mentioned on WGR55 yesterday. Just imagine how insane it will be at the Ralph if Andrew Peters fights Georges Laraque. Or how insane it would be if we scored in OT. The place will go out of control.

Does it matter? Seriously?

The Giants loss really sucked. I really could care less.

It's 3 or nothing... Myself, my dad, my brother. I'm not leaving anybody out and pissing somebody off while I'm home. As of now we're planning on going to HSBC and watching it there.

Hope so, but I always go by when the schedule comes out, and where ever
two home games fall in a row, that's the week I take, then I get to see two games and at least one Sabres game. Early Oct. is always the best!

Agreed....7-9 will pick probably 4-5 spots ahead of 8-8.

I'll enjoy watching my team play, win or lose, and will be unhappy after it's
all over. IMO, no BUFFALO BILLS football, is no football at all.
Can't wait for the draft, and next year! :gobills:
And SWEEPING the Fish is still an excellent season! :squish::beers:

It sucks the year is now over. Football goes by way to quick compared to the rest of the sports. Especially when you never play any extra games in January.

With that said I will watch the game but I'm not going to jump out of bed after a few hours of sleep again for this meaningless game. I will record it and when I wake up I will watch it. Most likely I will wake up anyway from being so used to it. If not I will watch it before work.
