    The Ralph

Are there concerts and other events at the Ralph over the summer? Seems like there is always something happening at Gillette , I was wondering if it was the same.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

There's never any concerts there. They should, but with the HSBC Arena that's mostly where concerts are held.

In the 90s, it seemed there was usually a big concert or two most summers. I know the Grateful Dead played during some summers. DMB played there as well as GnR and Metallica. Not sure about others.

LOL. Admitting there is a problem is the first step.

I think the lamest concert I ever went to was my first one, and that was Our Lady Peace, and I'd consider NSYNC a million times more than that...

Orchard Park really dislikes events at the Ralph - it costs them money (police, garbage pickup, etc) and they get very little back.

                          I love OLP!

I have never been to a concert anywhere near the gayness of NYSNC.

IC you better play metal at leat 4x harder than you do to wash that stink off.

I've seen them twice actually, and I like them, but they are by far the most tame concert I think I've been to... Well not includings ones I worked, since I didn't have much choice in being at those.
