I hope Trent Edwards plays well against Philly. If he has a bad game, it's surely going to be MONTHS of QB bashing, "trade for McNab" and other garbage.

I hope he has a strong game, if for nothing else than to make the board a tiny bit more peaceful this offseason.

I would NEVER tie franchise money into a QB who is as prone to injury as McNab. NOt to mention, maybe through no fault of his own controversy seems to follow him.

Even if he throws 4 picks, quarterback will still be way down on the list. If Todd Collins can get it done with a decent supporting cast, let's worry about defense and locking up some of the special teams guys who might be gone...
