    I've watched, supported and observed...

    ...Trent.

I'd still rather have JP starting!!

But maybe neither are the future.

At least JP gives you the occasional bomb.

Either way, I think both are mediocre and would love to see the Bills draft Colt Brennan or someone else.

So you wanna see us draft a QB on Day 1?

      I think not...

The problems lie beyond the QB position. They need "skill position" players.

But no way do they trade JP OR give Trent the starting job without a QB competition next year.

            idk

one thing for sure the entire offense is drastically underperforming under both of them. one guy only scores td on bombs. the other only generates fgs

i thought jp would continue his steady progression from last season but he appears to have regressed. im not sure how much is him or the obviously bad oc but you have to wonder whether or not jp has reached his peter principle

at least edwards still has that likely rapid rise ahead of him due to lack of experience. but theres no doubt about lacking the top end of arm strength which was exposed in the bad weather games and like today on the deep out. hes also appeared to have taken a step back on his short ball accuracy having missed a bunch of open guys today

i would prefer they have another qb comp next fall but i know they wont do that. theyve decided to put all their chips on edwards and see what happens. cant say i blame them as the qb comp thing is fatiguing for everybody. its just gonna suck if they fire sale jp and he ends of a decent or better starter elsewhere which certainly is still possible

tough situation. i just they get a good oc and dont go the cheap and ez route of promoting somebody from within. they need an offensive guru not another newbie learning on the job. not holding my breath

one thing im sure of: buh bye unfairchild

              you really think so?

i wouldnt mind it too much but i just dont see it happening. do you think the fans will tolerate it? how about the lockerroom?

maybe if it was tuna or gibbs or somebody with a rep they could get away with it but if the dick does it i wonder if he will have to face a revolt from both sides of the benches

I'm nowhere near sold on Trent but we've seen 3 years of JP. He's definately not the answer. Hopefully Edwards will show big improvement next year or we're screwed once again

Neither Edwards nor JP is the answer.

i would love to see us pick up a decent veteran QB in the offseason.

                    Exactly! How about Anderson?

Parcells has a hard on over Anderson, i don't see that happening for us.

The offense just sucks period. Two big things are hurting us right now....terrible receivers and a terrible OC. Changes must be made or it will be more of the same next season.

Funny, but I saw nothing that makes me concerned about Trent and I highly doubt the coaching staff is any less high on him.

I will bet you any money that Trent will be the starter and announced as such before camp even starts.

The big concern should be Evans who has been pathetic this year.

trent pretty much sucked the last 3 weeks, but he's still showing some good stuff.

he rolls out and away from pressure very well, he is very careful w the ball (only 1 of the ints against the giants were horrible), spreads the ball out well, and makes his reads pretty well.

he is far from good, or even entrenched as a starter, but i think we have something to work with now. jp was and always will be a bad jeff blake clone.

Damn that would suck, if the Dolphins got him and continued to build a good team around him.
