I always look at the inactives to determine WHY not active
3QB 10 G.Hamdan - makes sense
WR 19 S.Mayle - why was he activated?
S 20 D.Whitner - ill and may or may not have been available
RB 36 S.Williams - no surprise, 5th back for emergencies (#2 on IR)
OL 71 J.Peters - assume not put on IR as thanks for extension since declared out
DE 74 C.Mace - why was he activated?
OL 79 P.Estes - extra lineman, just in case
TE 88 R.Neufeld - not good news for him if not injured
On rare occasion a player will get sick right before game or will be thrown out of a game so a dressed and inactive player can be substituted which is why Mayle and Mace were added to active squad other than to be able to say to children "Yes I was a NFL player".
