    Griese to Sign with Fins.

Dolphins | Griese Coming Aboard? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
10:02 PT: Updating ongoing reports, ABC 7 Sports in Denver reports that Denver Broncos QB Brian Griese plans to sign with the Miami Dolphins after the Broncos release him on June 1.

I hope his dog hates Miami and takes it out on Griese.

Am I the only one who thinks Griese will do well there? I don't want him to sign there.

I think he'll do well but not this year though. Maybe next year but by then we'll have a Tampa type of D.

They got the cap room, but if they get him, than i wouldnt expect them to get Seau....Also what will they get capwise for releasing Jay?

They can have him. Fielder is a ball control passer (few mistakes / sacks) Griese is more risk oriented (like Kelly), but without the talent. I think this makes for more mistakes on Sundays.

Plus, his leadership is not what Jay's is.

Ditto, he couldn't be successful with the Denver RBs and the WRs there..He wont be successful in Miami.

I like Griese (other than his clumbsy antics)he is a big step up from Feidler, but he will have less receiving weapons in Miami then he had in Denver. Miami will still have to rely on Ricky to get things done and let's not forget Greise's fragility.

Yeah, we can get Lucas back in the game.

He's not the starter yet. He still has to beat out Fiedler!

Yeah, "Vice" city will do wonders for his drinking problem! Sign him Miami.

I don't like this. Griese wasn't a good fit in Denver, especially following after Elway. A change of atmosphere might just be what this guy needs. He's got a couple years of experience now. I don't have a good feeling about this one, despite how he's played in Denver.
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

Case in point, refer to the Ricky Williams story.

Will the fins keep if they sign Greise? Will the two duke it out for the starting job? Or will they drop like a bad habit?
