All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Marv got us going in the right direction. I wouldn't want to start over in a different road again. Promote from within and continue down this path we're on.
as a fins fan, i'm happy that parcells ended up in miami. however, i'm not going to say he'll definitely be the savior or anything because we just don't know. i know enough from past saviors such as jimmy johnson and nick saban that a wait-and-see approach is best. in general, though, the big name saviors that miami has had recently have at least made the product on the field more entertaining.
as for buffalo, if parcells would have ended up there, it would mean a lot of turnover on the defense, especially. the front 7 personnel would need to change drastically to accomodate a 3-4 front. i know i'm making an assumption that parcells would want to go that route, but it seems like a safe one.
so i'll go ahead and make another assumption: you buffalo fans have been waiting long enough and probably don't want to overhaul that much. it seems like you're just a couple of guys (and some better injury luck) away from having a pretty good defense, and that's much closer than seven new guys...
