Ok so apparently there is no coin flip?

Then Buffalo and Denver were next as both had the same strength of schedule percentage at .515. When two teams are still tied after strength of schedule, the conference tiebreaker is applied. The first conference tiebreaker is head-to-head.

Due to Denver's last second win over Buffalo in the season opener, Buffalo is awarded the 11th pick and Denver gets the 12th selection.

Some had speculated that there would be a coin flip with Denver and the Bills for the 11th/12th spots as they both had the same SOS%. Good news I guess.

          I have them picking 12th.

I understand the order to be:

          1) Win%
          2) SOS%
          3) Super Bowl winner drafts last
          4) Super Bowl loser drafts second to last
          5) Divisional Record
          6) Conference Record
          7) If a playoff and non-playoff team end the season with the same winning percentage, the non-playoff team selects before the playoff team regardless of strength of schedule.

Because Denver has a 3-3 division record to the Bills 4-2, Denver will get the edge. Both teams are 6-6 in conference play.

This only applies if they are in the same division.

We were already after the Bengals, and we would be 8-8, so we would then go behind the other 6 (including the eagles) 7-9 teams.

That means the first 8-8 team would get pick 17. I dont know where SOS would put us with in the following group: Cardinals, Vikings, Texans, Bills. We would draft somewhere between 17 and 20.

I want the best WR on the board at #11. A guy who will come in and give us Dwayne Bowe-like contributions as a rookie.

So, it's official. Congratulations, all... the Bills have yet again taken another step BACKWARD. From 12th in last year's draft up to 11th, and eliminated from the playoffs one week earlier than the year before.

Two consecutive improving seasons? Hasn't happened since the 90s... just like the playoffs...

Beating Washington cost the Bills the 9th pick.

Yes but we still had a shot at playoffs us beating NYG and Philly just hurt our draft placement

once we are eliminated i root for the bills but a lost doesnt bother me unless to a team i hate

Beating Washington on the road after a last minute Trent Edwards drive officially sealed JP Losman's fate for good.

So I wouldnt trade that win for 2 draft spots.
