Let me start off by saying I like, and think Trent Edwards should be the starter next year.
But if we do trade Losman it would be nice to bring in a QB with some experience who is still pretty young.
Leftwich is still under contract I believe in Atlanta but there is no way he's gonig to be on there roster next year I dont think.
Thoughts?

Not sure about this. Leftwich will want to be the starter.

Leftwich would give us an expensive, mediocre QB with a bad attitude.
Let's spend our offensive money on some receivers and an OC who doesn't have his head up his butt.

Does Leftwich have a bad attitude?
From what I know the only knock on him is that he has a slow release and hes injury prone. I've never heard anything about character problems?

I'm not saying he's great but he's a much better option than Gibran Hamdan, or most QB's that are going to be free agents such as Josh McCown, Daunte Cullpepper, or Rex Grossman...
Chad Pennington would be a nice option too, but i'm afraid hed be more expensive than Leftwich...plus his arm strength is a concern more and more every season
I'd rather bring back a son from the past, Todd Collins. He might be a FA after this season. He's better now than what he was last time he was here.
