I will post a public poll a day whether a player will be on Bills' roster game 1 of the 2008 season. All polls will end on March 1 which should be before free agency starts. If any player retires before March 1 then the player will be removed from statistics. This should give us 65 polls or more whether a player remains and at start of 2008 season I'll post a chart who is best prognosticator and some other states such as who guessed the most players gone, etc.

Note: This is a prediction on what the Bills will do not what YOU think they should do. A vote of 'No' means the player will be cut, traded, injured and put on IR, retired, or put on some other list as long as it is not active roster. I will NOT vote to make judging impartial.

Fifth poll is on Larry Tripplett:

Discussions on why player may be gone are fine and encouraged but this is not an essay and only answer written counts.

In response to PM asking if there will be any "badges" for this, there are none although I'll use my own ZBs to give out some tropheys for those who pick the closest to what front office decides.

He stays. Tripplett fits this defensive scheme and actually played well at times.

Why get rid of him. He may not be dominant but he is under contract.

He's not going anywhere until we have a fatass to replace him... Which we need.

If there's any DT that goes, it will be Jason Jefferson first.

I voted no only cause i cant stand the way he plays, gets blown off the line of scimmage and does not provide much pass rush, i think we need to cut ties and go after someone else, he is a major reason why teams run all over us, but that being said he will stay with this FO

The only problem is that this is your opinion where G. Host is looking a answer on what you think the team will do not what they should.

That is what I have been saying and including that at top of each poll but some seem to just want to talk what they want which is the same as many other posts.

These polls are depressing me because it shows how much mediocre talent we have that's disproportionately eating up cap space, and we have little choice but to keep most of them. Tripplett ... most of the WRs ... Royal ... both DEs ... and most of them are veterans with little upside, so it's not like they'll get better with another year in the system. We need a lot of new blood, and if we don't spend big with the money saved last year, then cash to crap is for nothing.

And I don't care about the "Redskins" crap. That argument is dead. The Patriots went from a good team to the best of all time by bringing in stud vets. That approach can work.

As long as we dont fire Fewel and drop the "Cover two", he stays...

Not sure he starts though. McCargo might overtake him, if he doesnt move to the "1 gap".

He'll stay.

Unless you're talking about regular season only, you're jumping the gun a little bit. Even if it is only regular season, there are at least four other teams that finished undefeated and deserve consideration.
