While perhaps true, this is only because their efforts in free agency have flunked in their roles to the maximum extent possible.

The drafts certainly haven't been anything impressive once the Modrak/Guy drafts finally become fully known. The only thing that even allows them to suggest that is the unknown status of the most recent draftees.

Guy had nothing to do with Wright, as he was a draft pick, his current position only calls for professional players. Though he might deserve credit for people like Brian Moorman, Rian Lindell, Josh Stamer to name a few.
