Buffalo did have an AHL team

did a Google search has anyone heard of the Buffalo Bisons (not to be confused with the Minor League baseball team)

For nearly 75 years, Buffalo hockey fans have enjoyed professional hockey action at its finest. Before the Buffalo Sabres entered the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1970, there were the Buffalo Bisons who played in the American Hockey League (AHL).

The way we've played this year and the way the FO has decided to do business...I thought we STILL have an AHL team?

              LOL .

Yes, I went to many of their games. The Rangers minor league team, starring Guy Trottier and many more. I was also at the Sabres 2nd game ever, in 1970.

Any chance you could make a Rochester Americans Jason Pominville custom or maybe even Ryan Miller? That would be SWEET!

That is actually Hall Of Famer Brad Park who played in Buffalo. As long as I can find pictures of Miller's mask in Rochester I can do it. Pominville would be easy.

Actually I believe Miller could be done with his old black/red/silver mask that he used with the old Sabres uni.

From what I remember, when he was here, Ryan Miller was always wearing that black Sabres mask, with the silver in it. Every picture that I see of him shows him wearing a Buffalo Sabres red and black goalie mask too.
