I never thought this team would play at the level of last season, after watching the poor player decisions over the last 2 years.

Grier and Drury should still be here. They were leaders. Max should have been dumped 2 years ago. Now the D is coughing up the puck and the Offense isn't good enough to overcome it.

What I panicked about in July was that the bar would be lowered to merely making the playoffs.

Anything less than final four again is miserable failure deserving of *****ing like we've never seen.

Yep, and we got the brunt of the backlash. Now, reality is setting in and none of us like it. It sucks, it's unacceptable and it's an embarrassment, but this organization seems content to live with it.

no they won't. If the Sabres don't make the playoffs, the ticket sales will plummet next year IMO. There's no way we sell out of season tickets next season if they miss the playoffs IMO. :shakeno:

Actually we played better when we had all the injuries last year and started sucking when they all came back and it hasn't stopped since.

The core of this team is a bunch of overhyped, average, soft players. It was their problem last year in the playoffs and it is even a bigger problem this year without Drury & Briere.
