Edwards was asked about whether he and Losman could co-exhist next season under the assumption that Edwards was still the starter. Here's his answer

I don't know. I think it would be pretty tough for them to both be here. I think it is time to move on.

Edwards is more worried about his own job and improving as starter than worrying about who his backup is. This shouldn't be surprising.

What does it matter what Edwards wants? JP is the one that has said he wants out. What could Edwards gain by blasting JP? He's not stupid.

He shouldn't care with the Bills brass so enamored with him anyways.

Edwards has been nothing but class since the Bills drafted him. JP on the other hand...

Seriously, what is he supposed to say, "I want him gone. I don't want to take the chance that our new offensive coodinator thinks he is a better fit for the new offense"?

He didn't exactly say, "Yeah, I would love that. He will push me to be the best I can be."

Basically, you have to read between the lines in most press conferences. One more reason I respect JP is because he pulls less punches then most. In fact, when he does pull punches, he kind of makes it obvious he is pulling them, seemingly on purpose.

Now, I am not a CIA behavior specialist, but I am a relatively successful semi-pro poker player. I am fairly good at reading people. What he said was standard operating procedure.

How many times has he spouted off to the media? That's not class. That's being a whineass crybaby or should I say a Thurm.

PS- We don't know yet how classy Trent is. He hasn't been in JP's shoes yet.

JP should stop pretending being starting QB in the NFL then, it's not right.

He did spout off to the media after the Pittsburgh game saying he wanted to air it out more.

And Flutie was right. He WAS a much better QB that Johnson.

who said he was wrong about that? Even I thought that.

It's about TD being the biggest flutie flake who was the biggest backstabber. Keep up. ;)

You said he didn't spout off to the media, I just pointed out one place where he did.

I wanted JP to succeed, but I just didn't see enough progress IMO.
