He's been hurt a few different years ut after getting acclimated in his first year he has put up some very nice numbers and is a good size target. Even after getting injured in 2005 he bounced back and had a nice 2006. He started out very well in 2007. I dont think that he is a problem with moving teams over the past few years. If we could trade for him, I'd do it in a heart beat to be our #2. I wnder if Kelsay for Walker would work? Then we draft another tall WR, sign Hargrove for the DE rotation and draft a DE.

Hmmm....I'm going to say Redskins or Dolphins. Buffalo won't bite.

If he was any good they wouldn't be getting rid of him. Let's go after a legitimate player. Oh yeah, wait, this is Buffalo.

So what rumors are floating around? The thread title led me to believe that if I opened up the thread, I would see rumors...

He's got bad knees. Why bother?

Because some here have heard of him. That's all it takes to shoot from the hip and think later.

I heard that before Marv leaves, he's going to redo Peerless Price's contract for $4.5 a year, so we don't need Walker.

Agreed. Rather get Wilfork who is younger, cheaper, and more of the possesion receiver/redzone threat we really need.

Wilfork will have to lose some weight if he's going to switch to WR next season. I think you're talking about Ernest Wilford. I like Wilford as well. Would be a perfect compliment to Lee.

I would love a Walker for Kelsay trade. Then it would make more sense what we should do with the #11 pick. We could likely go after DE Gholston or another prospect that could actually create a pass rush alongside Schobel...

Walker has had some team problems over the past few years. I know the thing with Farve blew-up after Farve told him to get into camp rather than holding out. I can almost see Walker's point from that incident. But in Denver he's crying now because he doesn't fit the system, the same system he was praising a year before when they traded him.

Added to that the guy has injury problems, and with that knee injury a couple of years ago I wouldn't go after him. Injury history, coupled with chronic crying and complaining about the team (despite good personal numbers) is reason enough to stay away from Walker.

Get me a Bryant Johnson, Wilford, or some big kid in the draft. I'll take my chances with them.

Well, for the money we are spending on Price...wouldn't Walker be a better #2? There's no hip shooting or later thinking here. It's obvious we could have done better than Price.
