DTs: Although Corey Williams is my #1 choice many teams will be calling him. Other options are;

Damione Lewis, DT, Carolina. He is stout against the run and can still rush the passer.

William Joseph, DT. NY Giants. He's pretty big at 6'5 308 and would probably make a nice tandem with McCargo on first down.

Tommy Kelly, DT, Raiders. Kelly is a real good pass rusher and is also pretty good against the run. At 6'6 he can bat down a lot of passes also.

LBs:

DeMorrio Williams, Atlanta -- This guy is real fast and makes tackles all over the field, shouldnt be too expensive either.

Rocky Boiman, Indianapolis -- He filled in real well for the injured Indi LBs and already knows the system. Relatively unknown but would probably be an upgrade over Ellison.

Landon Johnson, probably the best defender on the Cinci D which might not be saying much but he is actually a good player and would be a huge upgrade. Would also be 6 mil a year cheaper than Briggs.

Boss Bailey, Detroit -- Jauron coached him in Detroit and he is playing in the cover 2 now. I dont know how much of an upgrade he would be although he is bigger than Ellison.

DEs:

Terrell Suggs: If we could somehow trade Kelsay and sign Suggs that would make our pass rush insane. Suggs could even outperform Schobel as a full time DE. IMO it would be money well spent, he's only 25.

Chris Clemons, Raiders -- On a more realistic note, Chris Clemons came in as a pass rush specialist for the Raiders and had a great year. He had 8 sacks on the year which is better than Hargrove who he would essentially replace. Still only 26.

Bobby McCray, Jacksonville -- Would probably demand a large contract so its not likely. But who knows.

Others, Josh Thomas, Indi, Travis LaBoy -Tennessee.

JP Losman and one of our 3rd rounders for Demorio Williams?

Sounds fair.

I just remember Boss Bailey being a REDICULOUS athlete out of college. I'm not exactly sure what happened to him, though. I haven't heard his name in years.

Injuries are the only thing holding him back from being a pro bowler. If he can stay healthy, he's a beast. That's been a big IF, however, so far in his career.

Suggs will command more than we'll be willing to pay...that is if the Ravens don't franchise him.

He's as realistic as Haynesworth coming here.

Carlos Dansby is my choice, for FA LB, he wont comand Lance Briggs type money but in my opinion is a bigger faster version of him, and he has been hidden in ARZ, he does get knicked up but is only 25yrs old, and was a highly touted LB comin out of Auburn and a 1st rd pick, he is also a monster size wise and real good blitzin the QB, we sign him there will be no need to draft a Lber

Thomas would be a waste of money at this point, he brings nothing to the team that we really dont have. Only DE Id sign would be Clemons because maybe what hurt Kelsay this year was the lack of a rotation like he had with Denney last year. Who knows though.

He does play OLB but in a 3-4. He is 6'3 260 and when Baltimore plays with 4 DL, Suggs plays DE. He would be perfect as a cover 2 DE. He's bigger than Schobel even.

Nobody SHOULD be considered "unrealistic" when there are only two teams in the NFL that have more cap room that we do.
