Do we draft a QB this season to back up Trent??

JP is all but gone so do we draft a QB late to back up Trent or do we just hire a old gun to mentor him??

Would like a vet, but if John David Booty or Chad Henne were to be there in the 4th(or if we get a third round Comp pick(i can hope right)). they would be hard to pass up.

no. no we should not. a vet is what we need in case he goes down. tho i do like henne but thats cuz we went to the same school (wulda graduated w/ him if i stayed there)

we need a qb that actually looks to be the long term answer. i know im a broken record edwards will not be the solution for the bills.

i pray he is not force fed to us next year. i'd hope a 1st or 2nd round qb is possible

what i would actually like to see play out bills take wr or cb with pick 11 then trade back up into late 1st for whichever qb drops

That worked out great for us in 2004.

I think the Bills will take a QB at some point late in the draft. I could see them using one of their 5th round picks on a QB or taking one even later.

This isn't a great QB class and IMHO a lot of QBs will fall down into that area. I could see the Bills looking at a guy like Ainge from Tennessee or Flacco from Delaware--that type of player--in those later rounds.

I can see the Bills signing a veteran backup, a Josh McCown/Billy Volek type and bringing in a rookie QB in the draft to replace G.Hamdan if they feel that they can get someone who will beat out Hamdan late in the draft.

He'd be fine in Round 4 or later. I like his arm and smarts. That AND a Vet would solidify the position for now.

I don't like any of the top guys this year.

IF we draft a QB, which I highly doubt, I'd give it about 4 weeks before we have yet another controversy on our hands. Hell, I won't even be surprised if that happens with a veteran backup coming in...

I dont think u waste a pick on a QB, u bring in 1 or 2 UDFAs let them compete with the Ghamdon guy who DJ luvs, and trade Losman
