Would you give up our 1st this year and our 1st next year?

I would in a heart beat!

I would give the 11th overall pick immediately.

But the Cardinals would never do that.

I would have no problem with trying to acquire Anquan Boldin either....

Don't think that would get it done. Fitz is good! They would want plenty.

No, you never give up that much for a WR. I'd love to have him, but no, I wouldn't give up two firsts. Let's not forget, the Cards have both Fitz and Boldin and have not made the playoffs, so you have to be very careful in overvaluing a player.

**** THAT!!!

Getting him would mean losing Evans.(cant afford both)

Not saying Fitz isn't better either but who in their right mind trades 2 #1s(I wouldnt give any #1s personally) for Fitz signs him to a huge deal then lets Evans to go FA, when you can just sign Evans?

Not me man. Why not just draft a WR at 11 for less money?

Jaybird

we need someone who can catch the ball in the red zone......

THATHURMANATOR

I know we do. We can get it in the draft or FA.

if evans is still here, the most i would offer is our 1st, one of the 3rds, and losman.

evans-fitzy would be sick.

Because Fitz is proven and still young.

The 11th overall will be a lot of money. Plus Fitz is better than anyone we would get there.

I'm sorry, but I'd rather pay Fitzgerald the money over Lee Evans. He's that good!

2 firsts? No way. Moss only got a 4th.

2nd, 3rd and pick next year based on production as high as a 2nd. No way do I offer #11 overall, or a 1st next year. They dont like it they dont take it, its a pretty simple idea.

I would give our 1st and 3rd this year,,, and a 2nd next year.

We could definitely afford both Fitz and Evans... how do the Colts afford Harrison, Wayne, Manning, Freeny, Mathis etc?

THIS ISN'T THE ARGUMENT MIKE. TO GET FITZ WE NEED TO TRADE MULTIPLE DRAFT PICS THEN SIGN HIM. THINK MIKE COME ON.

I would give our 3rd rounder.

By the way why are we willing to just drop our pants and give them everything? We are in the position of power here. The Cardinals can't afford to keep him.

For that, I'd give this year's #11 plus Chris Kelsay. Replace Kelsay through draft or FA

Isn't Fitzgerald due like $14m next season due to incentives and stuff? If thats the case, thats the only reason the Cardinals are trying to dump him.

Before we trade for Fitz and give up a high pick we would have to negotiate a long-term contract with him first. No point in trading for a guy that will be gone after next season. If we can do that then it would be a great move.

Having Fitz this year would have gotten us 2 or 3 more wins and most likely playoffs. Imagine if we were to add a TE like Keller with our 2nd into that mix.

Renegotiation is usually a given in most cases when trading for a guy w/only a year left on his contract.

Right but do you think Fitz will be willing to negotiate with Buffalo?

i'd trade our first for him.

we could make a real play to resign evans just as fitz was coming in.

that would still leave us enough cash to sign an OLB, maybe even a DT, and draft a TE, DT, LB, OG/C, CB etc.

we'd also be fine under the cap (and even the cash to cap, with cash to cap you only miss out in the first couple years, after that you can spend as much as the cap you just don't run into dead cap situations) for the next years and could grab a guy in FA if we see one we like.

Fitz, evans, marshawn, a new solid rook TE, along with Royal in 2 TE sets and Parish in the slot, and a young and smart trent edwards behind our massive line could really really hurt teams.

corner routes, quick slants, deep bombs against single coverage, safeties a mile back wondering which way to go, 7 and even 6 man fronts, roscoe with a LB over top of him and a guard pulling to run a convoy, all of these things are very possible if we add fitz to our O.

can you imagine marshawn running out of a shotgun draw against a dime D? how about catching a 5 yard out with no one withing 8 yards of him?

a guy like fitz would let us run quick routs over the slow NE linebackers and if they spread out we will have shots at evans deep. harrison would be obvious in the box and abused in coverage helping out on fitz and evans (who you gonna double?!?!). if they don't crowd the box then marshawn can run on them.

extra TOP and scoring more TDs would give our D a big advantage as well.

i want a fitz, roy williams, or chad johnson by trade this offseason.

i'd rather not spend the 1st rounder, but it'll be worth it no matter what.

He'd negotiate if they're in his ballpark $wise.

if he can stay healthy then maybe a single first. then later pick of this or next, we can definately use this fella. but ive seen an assload of az games now this year since my move and they love Anquan more than Fitz, so I think they would bite on something of the sort. plus they're not too smat of a staff over here. hell yes i would love him.

I'd give up next year's first and one of this year's thirds for him. Let Arizona bite the bag and dump salary on this one.

They wouldn't take it, but I'm not giving up #11 this year for him.
